Travel Tips & Using Your Debit Card
Are you making plans to travel this summer? Call us if you plan to be out of the area and we will add travel notes to your account. We also recommend taking more than one form of payment with you to be prepared for any unexpected needs.
No matter where you are, when making a purchase with your debit card we encourage you to choose Debit and Enter your pin to authorize your purchase. Fraud blocks may be in place for certain stores and these blocks will usually decline a Credit or signature-based transaction. Blocks are necessary when we see fraudsters targeting specific stores or specific types of transactions. Signature-based transactions are currently blocked for the following states: Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, and Virginia. Please know that your debit card will work in a pin-based transaction in all states in the US. Please call us if you have any questions. The security of your account is our top priority!
International ATM and debit card transactions, including Mexico and Canada, remain blocked for your protection as well. If you plan to travel outside the United States please contact us before you leave so we can update your card for international transactions. If you have any questions please give us a call.

You will receive a text whenever you use your card: TNB Guardian Alert on card XXXX at STORE for $$ No reply is necessary for transactions you have authorized. If you receive a text for a transaction you did not authorize, reply with the code included in the message and your card will be immediately blocked. You will have up to 12 hours from the original text alert to reply.
